Notes & Strings products are distributed and fulfilled by Johnson String Instrument using their state-of-the-art customer service and facilities.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Shipping rates were updated on February 16, 2012. Many of our Standard rates have been reduced! We still can offer competitive rates on all UPS ground and expedited packages even though UPS costs and fuel charges have increased dramatically.
GENERAL INFORMATION
We pride ourselves on the speed with which we process orders. If ordered before 12PM EST on a weekday, most Standard orders for in-stock items (excepting instruments) will normally be shipped out that same day, or the next business day at the latest. Sales and rental instruments may require 3-5 business days to prepare before shipping, though we do our best to ship them out sooner. Standard orders ship via USPS (Post Office) or UPS Ground. We also offer Next Day and Second Day shipping via UPS.
RUSH SHIPPING
Please note that UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday; a UPS Next Day Air order placed on Friday will arrive on Monday, and a 2nd Day Air order placed on Friday will arrive on Tuesday.
Note: Customers in Alaska or Hawaii must request shipping quotes at checkout.
ATTENTION INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMER
Shipping charges only apply to customers inside the continental USA. All other customers will be emailed a shipping cost for the order and Johnson String Instrument will wait for their approval before shipping. If an item is out of stock, your order upon payment approval will be processed and shipped in 1 package once all items are in stock.
TIMING
Your order will normally go out the same day (if received by 12 p.m. EST) or the next day (received after 12 p.m. EST) and will arrive one or two days later, if in the Northeast U.S., and approximately 5 days to Texas, California, etc.
RETURN POLICY
Defective Items: We will replace defective items or items damaged in shipping; simply give us a call within 30 days of your original order, and we'll send a replacement at no charge. We will usually ask that you return the defective item to us; we can either send a prepaid postage label, or simply reimburse you for your shipping costs when we receive the defective item.
Unhappy With An Item: Items purchased in one of our stores may be returned to the store within 30 days for a refund or exchange, no questions asked. If you purchased an item from us online or over the phone, you can ship it back within 30 days of purchase for a refund or exchange.

How Refunds Are Processed:
In-Store Purchases: A cash refund is given for cash purchases under $10.
In-Store Purchases: A refund check is mailed for cash purchases over $10.
Online & In-Store Purchases: A refund check is mailed for all personal check purchases.
Online & In-Store Purchases: A credit refund is issued to the same credit card used for a purchase.
Online & In-Store Purchases: A refund via PayPal for PayPal purchases.
While we try to process refunds as quickly as possible, sometimes it may be a few weeks before your refund appears on your credit card statement. If you have any questions about returns or our return policy, feel free to call (800) 359-9351.
